Last week the Year 7s were involved in a range of activities based around their studies of Ancient Rome and Ancient China. While completing an assignment, students researched and then made their very own ‘authentic’ ancient armour. This armour was worn with pride during the Ancient Games that were held at the end of the week. The games involved an opening ceremony, chariot races and a feast. The students also went on an excursion to the art gallery and the museum during the week to look at the different ways history can be preserved. Staff at both venues commented that the boys’ behaviour was exemplary.
