On August 14, four teams of students from Years 7-12 competed in the Write a Book in a Day Competition. In Write a Book in a Day, there are two universal truths. First: all friendships will be tested. Second: teenagers never listen when told to lay off the sugar.
Yet, despite the fractured tempers and the inevitable crash following the sugar-high, all four groups completed their literary masterpieces before the 8pm deadline.
In fact, this year’s cohort of writers comfortably met their deadlines through planning and excellent teamwork.
